Appointment Text Messages & SMS Consent

Learn how appointment text notifications work, what you may receive, and how to choose whether to receive them.

How SMS notifications work

Braider Ally provides booking and appointment-management tools for independent hair braiding businesses. When you book an appointment with a participating braider, that business may offer appointment-related text notifications through Braider Ally.

1Book an appointment

Choose a service and appointment time on your braider’s booking page.

2Choose whether to opt in

When offered, select the optional SMS consent checkbox. It should be unchecked by default.

3Receive appointment updates

If you consent, you may receive confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, and cancellations.

What SMS consent looks like

The example below illustrates the wording that may appear in a braider’s booking form. This is an informational example, not a live booking or SMS enrollment form.

Example consent disclosure

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not required to book an appointment.

Important: Checking the example above does not subscribe you to messages. SMS consent, where offered, must be collected through the actual booking process.

Your choices and privacy

Agreeing to appointment-related SMS is optional. You can still request an appointment without choosing text notifications. If you receive SMS messages, reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

Braider Ally does not sell or share SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. For additional details, please review our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
